I love weekends.
This weekend,
-Hopie has moved in!
-I had dinner with friends twice, watched the end of Return of the King, cleaned my room, and did some practicum stuff.
-Mer, Matt, Katy, Hopie, George and I all hung out and chatted last night in the apartment.
-George and I cleaned out the fridge and cleared off Steve's former shelf in the pantry.
-I went to church and out for coffee with Lubes.
-I've been watching some Cardinals games because they're not on cable on the weekends.
It's a good thing I have tomorrow to do some work too. Paper-writing should not be allowed during the summer, school or no school. Wish me luck.

A brief illustration of what I have left:
1. Statistics review of 5 chapters and some practice problems for my final tonight.
2. A 12-15 page lit review/best practices paper. I could include a lengthy explanation about why I'm not too concerned about this paper, but I do have stats to get to this morning.
3. A 20 page paper for my Social Justice class.
Not too bad... could be worse... so of course I'm blogging.
Other points of interest:
1. Hilary got her internship in Boston this summer and I'm so excited for her!
2. Steve and I have picked a date for our Lord of the Rings-watching marathon. Yep, all three. The extended versions.
3. I start my summer practicum May 16.
4. Tuesday I'm going to see Rick in Virginia! I think we're going to do some landscaping.
5. Mona the cat's belly is too big for her body. I'm thinking about getting some diet cat food for her.
6. I recently decided that I want to be a more holy person. I need to figure out how to put that into action.
7. I want to think of more for my numbered list... but
8. I have to go study now.
Happy Cinco de Mayo! Have a margarita for me, if you're so inclined.
