-I have found that since installing a new version of Norton Antivirus on my computer, I can no longer view comments on my blog, selected other pop-up-like informational items (like airport codes), or watch videos from The Daily Show. This development disappoints me. (But I have found other ways to look at comments, don't worry.)
-Life is good! But I do have some work to do here in the next couple weeks. Which is natural considering my tendency to procrastinate and choose fun over work most days. And also the fact that it's the end of the semester.
-I had a very good birthday, complete with a pedicure and a trip to the mall, lots of well-wishing phone calls and messages, and a Cardinals game with plenty of beer followed by some delicious (and oh-so-healthy) fast food. And I went to class too, so I wasn't a total slacker. Just partial.
-Last night I watched a recent episode of Scrubs with George and it had a really funny part, but I won't try to capture it here because I don't think it will transfer well. Suffice it to say, I really cracked up and that was awesome.
-Immediately after turning in my last paper on May 9th, I'm going to Virginia to visit Rick. I'm still holding out to go to a re-enactment.
-My nose must not be as congested as it was, because last night I could definitely smell the broccoli Steve cooked for dinner and the poo Mona made right as I was trying to fall asleep. What an inconsiderate creature.
-With that thought... I must go do other things.

I must say it has been a good couple of weeks. Although... I fear I will soon be paying the price for having fun by having insane amounts of school work to attend to. Ah well.

Good things:

We found a roommate for next year! So I will not in fact have to pay more money to make up for an empty room in the apartment.

I have practicum sites for the summer and next year! That was a big load off my shoulders.

Rick visited for Easter weekend and we had a great visit. We went to a Cardinals game, church, and poker (I took second place!).

One of my classes is totally finished and just a few weeks left of the others. Can't come soon enough!

I am currently watching That Thing You Do! and I love it so much.

I got three Easter cards in the mail. It was quite exciting.

Hopie is living with us this summer and we are going to have TONS of fun. When I'm not going to class or practicum, that is. :)

The not-so-good things:

My mom broke her nose! Keep her in your prayers for a restful and speedy recovery.

Steve will be moving out and I will miss him.

Rick still doesn't live in St. Louis and being apart only gets harder.

This blog is kind of blah. It may be discontinued fairly soon. But we'll see.
